Proofreading:

.0045 per word for Proofreading

Proofreading is done on a final draft and includes line-by-line correction of spelling, grammar, and minor sentence structure issues. This does not include major content restructuring, nor does it include a 2nd proofread after the author has accepted edits.

Content Editing with Proofreading:

.0075 per word for Content Editing with Proofreading

This is the absolute best value for a complete and thorough edit of your manuscript. Once the manuscript has been edited, and any changes the author wishes to make are complete, it is returned to me for a final proofread.
This package includes:
*Two to three editing passes
*Check for grammar, punctuation, and spelling mistakes
*Character analysis–Do they act their age? Does their dialogue read true to their individual character? Are the characters easily visualized by readers?
*Check of overall plot–Does it read well? Is there anything missing that might confuse the reader? Is the timeline correct?
*Overused phrases and words, in the content and as paragraph starters
*Any reactions I have throughout the story, I’ll tell you in a comment. If you break my heart, shock me into silence, or make me burst out laughing, I want you to know–and I’m sure you want to know.
Content Editing with a final Proofread offers the most polished final product.

Blurbs and teasers are included with any service I provide and will be treated with the same care as the full manuscript.

If you know there will be a delay in getting your manuscript to me, please be courteous and let me know a week or two in advance so that I can adjust my schedule accordingly. There will be a $50 non-refundable deposit anytime you schedule or reschedule, which will go toward your total, complete balance. If you reschedule for the same project more than two (2) times, unless you can show me serious extenuating circumstances, I will remove you from my calendar. 

I am not accepting requests for reviews or beta reading at this time, but that may change in the future. Please, feel free to ask, but understand that between editing, proofreading, promoting, and being a wife and mother, I don’t have much time to devote to reviews or beta reading right now. Thank you.
